RCA Benchmarking

As part of a New Zealand Transport Agency-funded research project, we have prepared an on-line survey for benchmarking the level of readiness of Road Controlling Authorities (RCA) under the CDEM Act 2002.

You are kindly invited to participate in this survey by filling out the on-line questionnaire available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RCAs_benchmarking.

 

Your participation will help us to identify strengths and weaknesses in terms of RCAs readiness to manage and operate during Civil Defence Declarations. Please find here an executive summary about the project.

The answers to the survey are confidential and will be used in accordance with the University of Canterbury’s Ethical Standards.

The terminology used in the questionnaire complies with the CDEM Act 2002 and the National CDEM Plan 2005. A list of definitions and abbreviations can be found here

The survey will be available until March 15th 2010. Participating RCAs will receive the analysis of the results by March 31st. The presentation and discussion of the final results will be held in Wellington on April 23rd, during the RCAs Forum.

If you work closely with, or rely on, other RCAs organizations (from City Councils, District Councils or New Zealand Transport Agency) please encourage them to take part in this survey.
